Ecogan is a supplement of wheat germ, malt extract, hops extract, ginseng extract, zinc (as Zinc Sulphate), magnesium (as magnesium oxide), biotin and vitamin B6.

Take one capsule with water and possibly with meal, twice a day.

side effects

It may cause side effects such as digestive disorders, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, metallic taste, headache, nervousness, estrogenic effects, photophobia and increased bleeding time. Using this along with food can reduce gastrointestinal side effects. There is the possibility of allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
Do not use during pregnancy.
Do not exceed the daily allowance dose during lactation.
Overdose use of zinc in long-term may reduce absorption of copper in the body.
Patients with kidney failure and cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and heart blockages should be cautious in their consumption of this product.
If you have any surgery forthcoming, stop using Ecogan.

Mechanism of action

Wheat germ is the reproductive part of wheat and indeed the embryo of the seed that is separated during production flour from wheat. The wheat germ is not the sprout of wheat. Addition, it is contains highly nutritious proteins include albumin, globulin, glutelin, Leucine, glycine, and etc.
Malt extract: a rich source of vitamins B (B1, B2, B3, B9, B12) , these vitamins are necessary for regular activity of the nervous system and as well as prevention of anemia (vitamin B12).
Zinc: it stimulates the growth of hair and nails, and protects the cells.
Magnesium: it is an essential cofactor in enzymatic reactions of body. Other beneficial effects of magnesium in the body include prevention of osteoporosis and regulation of electrolytes in the blood.
Biotin: an essential coenzyme in carboxylation reactions and its lack causes removal of organic acids in urine and changes in skin and hair.
In addition to properties such as hypoglycemia and Anti-hyperlipidaemia, ginseng extract is a tonic and can also improve memory function and learning.
Hops extract has a sedative and excitation effects and also can relieve gastrointestinal discomfort.

Interferences

Concomitant use of products containing zinc with penicillin amine, caffeine and foods containing high levels of phosphorus, calcium or phytates (such as bran and brown bread) reduce zinc absorption. To avoid this interference, zinc and its products must be taken at least 2 hours before or after the above-mentioned compounds.
Zinc reduces the absorption of quinolone antibiotics and effectiveness of tetracycline. To avoid this interference, zinc and its products must be taken 2-3 hours after or 6 hours before these drugs.
This capsule interferes with aminoglycosides, calcium channel blockers, fluoroquinolones, labetalol, levomethadyl and neuromuscular blockers, thus the effectiveness of these drugs should be checked.
Ecogan accelerates albendazole bowel movements and may interfere with warfarin, nifedipin, furosemide, phenelzine and monoamine oxidase inhibitor.
