Product description

This product contains hydro-alcoholic extract of aerial parts of thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.) and natural honey. Each 5ml of syrup has been standardized based on 0.35-0.45mg of thymol.

Mechanism of action

The spasmolytic and antitussive activity of thyme has been most often attributed to the phenolic compounds presented in thyme extract, thymol and carvacrol, and also poly methoxy flavones. In addition, honey relieves cough and is laxative for slimy phlegm of chest and lungs.
