This product is anti-flatulent, anti-spasmodic of digestive tract, indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Pharmacologic studies have shown that menthol prevents entrance of calcium ions into smooth muscle of the intestine walls similar to calcium channel antagonists, however, it cause relaxation of smooth muscles of the intestine and the lower esophageal sphincter, relieves spasms, and exhaust gas.
This product contains peppermint oil (Mentha piperita L.).
